Stitch, also known as Experiment 626, is an alien experiment created by Dr. Jumba Jookiba.

He crash-lands on Earth and is adopted by a young Hawaiian girl named Lilo Pelekai, who teaches him about 'ohana' (family). Stitch initially displays destructive behavior, but through Lilo's love and guidance, he learns the value of friendship, loyalty and belonging.

Stitch's first appearance was in the Walt Disney animated film Lilo & Stitch in 2002. He is often seen wearing a Hawaiian shirt in promotional material related to the movie and subsequent franchise.
